The emerging company “La Resistencia” was born in October 2019 from the need for union, collaboration and innovation of the artistic community of Menorca.

The group is made-up of multidisciplinary artists from different communities with a local and international trajectory.

The premise of the first production was to build a collective artistic identity. We work with different resources and interests that were manifested and deployed, at the same time that we get involved with local problems. At the height of the creative process, the state of alarm put the continuity of the work at risk.

The team continued creating, confined in the same residence, generating organizational tools and reinforcing their artistic and human bond. The result of this creative process is a scenic material that combines different expressive registers: La Resistencia de lxs Invisibles.

Two years later we find ourselves creating our third work: Carrer de Sa Comèdia, reaffirming our bond and collective struggle, working from a perspective which contemplates the Sustainability Objectives (+info) in the different steps of the process.
